Kate is a People Operations & Talent Acquisition expert with a passion for de-mystifying the job hunt. Known for direct, actionable feedback and lively sessions, she brings a no-fluff, spin-free approach to coaching leaders in their search for purposeful and career-defining roles. With extensive knowledge of the talent acquisition process and a vast network in retail, CPG, wellness, and tech, Kate’s methods are both unique and highly effective. Her holistic approach starts with focused job search strategies, crafting cohesive narratives, and elevating candidate marketing assets such as LinkedIn profiles, Resumes, Portfolios, Board Bios and more. She also helps leaders distill their experiences into highly relevant and engaging Interview responses and storytelling. Through her consulting firm, KJS Coaching & Consulting, Kate partners with Noto Group clients, providing expert guidance and a path to their next great role. She previously served as VP of People Operations at The Citizenry and led Global Talent Acquisition at Allbirds, Method, and The North Face.
Outside of work, Kate is a year-round multi-sport enthusiast, cheering on her two daughters in softball, basketball, soccer, and swimming. She is dedicated to pro bono coaching and speaking engagements with non-profits and community organizations. In her free time, Kate can be found fiercely competing in Jeopardy, singing her heart out to 90’s karaoke, and testing new recipes on anyone willing to try them.
