Noto Group announces the opening of its first European office in London and the appointment of John Copeland as Senior Partner. This strategic expansion strengthens Noto Group’s ability to serve its growing international client base while bringing its proven search and selection approach to the European market.
With nearly three decades of executive search experience across global consumer markets, Copeland brings extensive European industry expertise that aligns with Noto Group’s vision to be the go-to firm for “good companies” – those with authentic leadership, great culture, and meaningful career opportunities.

Beginning his recruitment career in 1995, Copeland established himself as a trusted partner in placing senior leadership talent for prominent brands including Adidas, Marks & Spencer, Levi Strauss, and Nike. Most recently, as Partner at Fusion Associates, he demonstrated his commitment to purpose-led organizations through successful executive placements with sustainability-focused clients and some of the most recognized brands globally.

Supporting this growth, Noto Group also announces several internal promotions. Adolfo Portillo has been promoted to Operations Manager after nearly four years of significant contributions to the firm. Additionally, Jake Collie and Anuhea Panui have been promoted to Associate Recruiter roles, recognizing their three and two years of dedicated service respectively. These promotions reflect Noto Group’s commitment to developing internal talent and building a strong foundation for continued expansion.
